A FAMILY TRADITION
With a vision for their young family and a passion for the land, David and Kay McAtee founded Brazos Bend Ranch in 1976. Their shared dream of a family ranch began with 172 acres on the banks of the Brazos, but no one could have predicted how that dream would flourish over the 50 years that followed.

For millennia, the Brazos River flowed far and wide throughout the Brazos Valley, enriching the soil and carving a unique topography of varied elevations. At Brazos Bend, the land has always been the stuff of dreams, sustaining families and wildlife alike, and we are proud to be its stewards in this century.
CATTLE SALES
PROVEN GENETICS
Brazos Bend Ranch runs a cow-calf operation featuring all-natural, grass-fed commercial Brangus cattle. The herd combined commercial Brangus cows with registered Angus bulls from 44 Farms, producing a closed herd of exceptional genetics. Now sired by both 44 Farms bulls and proprietary Brazos Bend bulls that draw on those 44 Farms genetics, the herd produces premium, resilient, and uniform yearlings, replacement heifers, and bulls.
